Mental performance coaching sessions are spent on the field or location discussing obstacles to success and developing a plan to overcome performance barriers. Some points considered during this process may include, but are not limited to:

Sports Counseling

Sports counseling is a new approach to working with athletes in order to assist with the challenges they face both on and off the field.

This specialty field varies from traditional counseling as it takes into consideration the specific needs of the athlete. This helps enhance performance as well as improve one's life outside of sports. Some topics of sports counseling may include, but are not limited to:

- Handling pressure

- Organizing practice strategies

- Increasing consistent success

- Setting and achieving goals

- Enhancing mental focus

- Developmental issues in sport

- Overcoming injury

- Retirement from sport
